NOTE: Summer 2026 Taxes will be payable starting July 1st. Winter 2026 Taxes will be payable starting December 1st. Please read the “message to taxpayer” on the tax bill for payment information.

1% INTEREST PER MONTH AFTER SEPTEMBER 14, for unpaid Summer Taxes.

3% PENALTY AFTER FEBRUARY 16, (PLUS 1% PER MONTH) for unpaid Summer and Winter Taxes.

DOG LICENSES REQUIRE A SEPARATE CHECK-DO NOT INCLUDE IN TAX PAYMENT.

PLEASE NOTE: ANY UNPAID BALANCES FOR PRIOR YEAR 2025 REAL PROPERTY TAXES HAVE BEEN TURNED OVER TO THE LENAWEE COUNTY TREASURER’S OFFICE AS OF MARCH 2, 2026. PRIOR YEAR REAL PROPERTY TAX PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE AT THE LENAWEE COUNTY TREASURER’S OFFICE LOCATED AT THE OLD COURTHOUSE IN ADRIAN AT 301 N MAIN ST, ADRIAN, MI 49221 (517-264-4554). THANK YOU.

Dog Licenses

Starting December 1, Dog Licenses for 2026, will be on sale at Raisin Charter Township.
License fees are $10.00 each for spayed/neutered dogs and $15.00 each for intact dogs. On March 1st, the fees will increase to $20.00 and $30.00 respectively for the licenses.
The Rabies Certificate is required for purchase of a license as well as separate proof the dog has been fixed if not indicated on the Rabies Certificate.
Credit cards are not being accepted as payment for dog licenses, only cash or check.

Where?

You may purchase the license at the Township Office in person Monday thru Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Or you may mail your proof of current rabies vaccination, proof of spay/neuter, your check and a self-addressed envelope to the Township Hall.

For your convenience please make use of the drop box after hours. It is checked daily.
