StoryWalk®- Ribbon Cutting Celebration

Please join us Wednesday, October 14th @ 10:30am for a special storytime and ribbon cutting celebrating the addition of a StoryWalk® at Mitchell Memorial Park located at 3400 Gady Rd, Tecumseh, MI 49286.

Thanks to the generosity of Tecumseh District Library and the Friends of Tecumseh District Library, Mitchell Park is now home to a StoryWalk® along the pathway between the North and South Shelters.

Stroll along the pathway and enjoy The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn. Donuts and Cider will be provided.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

Mitchell Park

Mitchell Memorial Park is located at 3400 Gady Rd, Tecumseh, MI 49286. On the corner of Gady Rd and Green Hwy in Raisin Township.

The 38 acre recreational facility offers:

8 Ball Diamonds
3 Soccer Fields
Practice Soccer Fields
2 Tennis Courts
Roller hockey Asphalt Half Court
2 Picnic Shelters with restrooms. Available for reservations.
