What do I do if my neighbors are violating the township ordinance? (i.e. junk cars, tall grass, garbage in yard
Fill out the complaint form HERE and return it to the township office. In order to investigate a complaint a signed form must be received.

Call the electrical company – Consumers or Midwest Energy.

 

Can I raise livestock on my property such as cattle, hogs or horses?
Parcel has to have 5 acres and a width not less than 300 feet. This is only in agricultural districts.

 

Can I have small animals on my property such as poultry or rabbits?
Parcel has to have 3 acres and a width not less than 200 feet. This is only in agricultural districts.  (Please note the chicken ordinance)

 

How do I get rid of this?
Local options for Hard-to-dispose-of-items Raisin Township has 3 Dump Days per year in the Spring, Summer and Fall.

 

Spring Tire and Electronic Collection

A spring collection is being planned for Saturday May 11th. Wacker Chemical Corp and Anderson Development Co. are hosting a household hazardous wast collection at Wacker’s Sutton Rd plant. Tires and electronics will be collected at the Lenawee County Fair and Event Grounds. For more information, call 264-4511

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 2811 Treat Hwy, Adrian, is accepting the following electronics for Recycling: Computers and Laptops (hard drives wiped clean), Monitors, Printers, Peripherals, Cell phones, PDA’s, Televisions, MP3 Players, Game Consoles, Computer Components. Dispose of Unused Prescription Drugs Safely

Unneeded or expired prescription drugs are hazardous to keep around. Periodic collections are held in Lenawee County, and the Tecumseh Police Department has a barrel in its lobby at 309 E. Chicago Blvd. that is used for collecting unused or expired prescription pills or capsules.

A Lenawee County Road Commission truck knocked down my mailbox. How do I get it replaced?
